myGene is an ambitious venture that aims to make the endless possibilities of biotech accessible. The founders envision a future where gene editing is safe, easy, and personalized—and everyone has the power to edit their own bodies.

THE CHALLENGE & APPROACH:

Conveying the business concept and spirit in a single glance

My goal was to combine:
the concept of gene editing +
a friendly, accessible feel

In my view, a successful logo and brand identity would capture their ethical approach to bleeding-edge science, while also immediately conveying the idea of personalized gene editing. Featuring a clean, friendly, and accessible tone would help differentiate myGene from others in the biotech field.

For the end design, I focused on the image of a DNA double helix, which I abstracted and stylized to incorporate the “my” of myGene.
